Yes! It's finally in my shop! The hippo is finished! :)
So I have to admit that I have been a little distracted from my crafts and my shop lately. Not sure why the lack of motivation, but after a couple of weekends lost without any creativity, I forced myself to do something this past Sunday and I'm back!!!
Going through my stuff, I realized I had so many projects "almost done"- just waiting to be framed. I finished them, photograph them and seeing the end product plus all the fabrics I have sitting there waiting to be made into something got me SUPER motivated again. So I will be doing as much as I can this week. The only bummer is that I only have a few hours at night, but this weekend I will be catching up again. :)

Project of the week
I was recently inspired by so many amazing pillows found on etsy and some great craft blogs. For the longest time I've been wanting to try something new, so this weekend I got busy and made the first of (hopefully) many more pillows to come ;) -Salem really liked it...I wonder why?....
A week in Texas...
So the reason why I disappeared for a few weeks now is because I went to spend a few days in Texas with my family. It was so nice, I wish I could have stayed much longer!!! Nothing better than spending time with them and having mom make meals for me everyday - specially when you're lucky to have the best cook in the world be your mom ;). Besides that, it's bluebonnet season in Texas so everywhere we looked seemed like a sea of bluebonnets, it looks amazing! I was able to take a few pictures but it doesn't do justice to seeing them in person.

Lili
This is Lili Monster!!! My crazy cat! :) She has so much personality and attitude, I sometimes forget she's a cat. I still have to illustrate her and cross stitch her. I'm just not sure which of her many expressions would be cuter to capture for that. Hopefully I can come up with it soon.
