Amigurumi 101

Today I took an Amigurumi class at The Little Knittery in LA. In three hours we learned the basics of amigurumi and it was awesome to be able to create something, I thought that with my crochet skills, I would only end up with a stand of single crochet but thanks to Julie, our class instructor, I was actually able to create an entire head shape! My little creation is in the top picture. Lili liked it a lot, I might just have to make a few of those with a hint of catnip in there :) The second one, is  the one my friend Linda made - super cute!!! :)
