 November was without a doubt, one of the busiest months for me this year! But one good thing was that I got get together with my family for one week. We decided to meet in San Antonio, TX and it was super nice! Here are a few pictures I took during my trip ;)

One of my favorite things was that there were deer all over the place, evem right outside our door! I wish I could have brought them with me to California!

Lili & Bosco

Awww! even though Lili is a bit of a bully towards Bosco most of the time, deep inside she loves him and it just comes out sometimes ;)

I decided to dress up only two days before Halloween, so I came up with the idea of becoming Hangyodon, after all it's Sanrio's 50th year anniversary! and guess what?! I got first place winner at work!!! YEIH!!!! Thanks Hangyodon!!! :)))

It's Pee Wee!!!

Here is a new embroidery I made. I couldn't possibly count how many times I have watched pee wee's big adventure since it came out in 85 and it never gets old and always makes me laugh...what can I say? I love pee wee!!! :)

My embroidery was featured on TV!!! :) One of my awesome customers from Etsy, ordered the embroidery set (wall art & mobile plushies) posted on September as "Latest Hippo Friends" to use for a baby's nursery. Happy October!!!

Yes! It's Fall!!! October is my favorite month of the year, I'm so happy its finally here. And to make it better we got a bit of rain today! :) I love it! I feel so much more inspired during the fall. I started some new ideas  with some of my favorite creatures: crows, monsters, even a few zombies ;) I will be posting more soon.

This is a padded eyeglass case, I cross stitched a little while ago.It's been a bit hectic lately, I hope to have time soon to get more new projects going. I can't believe it's already August! Is this year flying by or is it just me?!

So relaxed.....toasty Bosco! For a moment I almost confused this picture with the homemade potato chips below

Homemade Sweet Potato Chips

If you own any kind of food slicer (food processor, mandolin, etc...) I recommend making your own chips! I saw a show on food network and decided to give it a try. Just slice very thinly your favorite veggie, you can try sweet potatoes, yams, parsnips, carrots & more. Just deep fry them in olive oil until they are golden (not extra virgin! if you are heating it up, it's best to use regular olive oil when cooking) Then remove them from the oil and lay over paper towel to drain excess oil. Season with salt, a little bit of pepper and a hint of garlic powder. They taste delicious...way better than any bag of processed chips I ever had!

Watching Birds

Every day, around sunset all the birds gather near my house. There seems to be thousands of them, it's real fun to watch them and apparently I'm not the only who thinks so. Look at my cute little couple just loving it.
